Research Work

As a graduate assistant, I focused on math placement, retention, and the success of freshman students. I utilized JASP, Cognos, and Python for my analyses. A notable contribution was the development of a custom PDF transcript search code to identify keywords, which assisted in predicting student retention.

I worked with OU’s Student Retention Team, analyzing incoming student data to forecast retention. This work was part of the Academic Success Center, and my day-to-day tasks included supporting other teams that assisted the freshman class with the goal of year-over-year (YoY) retention.
